There is nothing more lovely than a sunny spring day amongst bluebells. And they can be found in many places all over London including Ainslie Wood, Bluehouse Grove, Hampstead Heath, Highgate Wood, Larks Wood, Regents Park and Tower Hamlets Cemetery.
All of these sites can be found here on this website, with their nearest train stations.
Native bluebells can be identified as they stoop, with one side heavier with flowers. Other species grow upright. And there is another essential difference - native bluebells emit a sweet smell, adding to the delight of discovering them all around the countryside of London.
